Display ideas for Mini Art Feelings

I have been busy taking pictures of the Mini Art Feelings yesterday. I was so pleased to have my tripod so all shots were quite steady and I didn't have to edit too much, beside cropping them.
The feelings on this picture below all have to do with travelling & exploring so I thought they would look good with my globe & antique world map in the back.
I also thought of a way how that the Mini Art Feelings can be displayed. I had a few IKEA Bas display boxes in my storage room that have been waiting for use for a long time.
The back of the boxes is white so I wanted to add some color to it. As I have some wallpaper books at home, I decided to see if I could find a pretty wallpaper to add to the back of them.
The feelings don't all fit in the boxes as some of them are too fat but most of 'em do.
I think it looks great like that. :) Do you like it?

  3. Hallo
I like the idea with the globe. But I would prefer to have it more in the background.
The boxes are lovely for the bigger one. But the small one looks kind of lonely I think.

  4. These feelings look very nice with globe and in the box! But as you know, I'm a minimalist, I'd love them just on white background too :D

  10. Mitsy, I like the best the first in the second row. The one listed in front, the "crowed" behind giving an idea what´s on offer in the shop. ox

  12. Looking great, Mitsy! :) Can't wait to see them in your shop. I love the photo in the group (never thought, I would like "pretty" so much like in the crowd ;)), but I would suggest to put two feelings with similar texture not to near to each other (like the first 2 from left on the front row and the first two from right on the second row). In small photos (thumbnails) they would look pretty the same. Just a thought.. maybe it's just me ;)

  13. As I have a huge weakness for globes I love that pic, but the ones in the box are pretty too, like a little Theater as printtroll mentioned!

  15. MItsy, this mini-theatre is a gorgeous idea, I love it! It looks so great!
The only thing I would add, that I would try some darker colors as well for backgrounds - depending on which feeling you are shooting.

  18. I like both the globe and the boxes equally. I have a feeling that some of your customers will want to purchase your mini theater boxes to display their precious feelings in. So maybe you will need to get more of those boxes! :)

  20. Elisa, they are worldwide available in IKEA! ;)
Devi, you're perfectly right about the picture! I'll re-take it sometime later!
    Veganosaurus, I don't have close-ups unfortunately. I'm not a great photographer and the boxes reflect - grrr - so I din't venture into close-ups!
Thanks for all your nice comments!
