Supermarketmagnets

So, they are finally ready to show you: the SUPERMARKETMAGNETS!
It has been such a fun project to work on and Anna did a terrific job on the illustrations. One is cuter then the other and I loved matching the colors together and applying the transfers.
There are 4 different color tones and 8 magnets in each of the color palettes. They hold a super strong neodymium magnet on the back and can hold lots of papers on your fridge or magnet board.
They are now available in my shop on Etsy.

Anna did a terrific job on the photographing of these supermarketmagnets don't you think?  :)

On the shoppinglist...

I've been working on the new collaboration project and my hand is sore cutting up a transfersheet. But the images are mighty cute and I can't wait to apply 'em onto the mosaic tiles.

I love the colors & I'm pretty sure they will look awesome after firing.
Soon magnets to be and in our shops (LilaRubyKing & ArtMind)

Flower box

I used to package my flower magnets in little sachets. This involves a lot of work and really all the packaging is a bit of a waste too. Besides that, selling 'em seperately has the advantage the people can choose the color of their choice on fairs. The downpart is, that they look happiest all together in their rainbowcolors so you might be tempted to buy 'em all. :)

I decided to go to the second hand shop and buy a tin box for 0,25 euro (0,35$). I sanded it. Then I put a few coats of white acrylic paint. After all was dry, I applied a transparant glaze. The magnets contrast really well with the white background.
And of course, all the magnets go in the tin. Such little effort! Don't you love recycling?

Studio happenings

It will be a busy day today. My table is filled with lots of things that need to get done. I'm sure I'm not getting this all done today but putting things in little blocks motivates me to get those 'blocks' out of the way...
Make and package Babushka magnets...Make and package flower magnets...
Assemble ceramic birds so they are ready to Decopatch.
Decopatch a flock of birds...
Think about a custom feeling for a friend.
I asked for some adjectives so I can work from there.
Sand & assemble love birds.
Fill this shelf with porcelain bits and pieces
for my collaboration with Anna from LilaRubyKing

And that's only what fits on my table at the moment... the to do-list however is loooooong and wide! :)

Oh, and if you haven't already, please vote for me for the Poppy Award, here! :)
