Frontpage by Entropia

Entropia made this gorgeous burgundy treasury and it made the frontpage! My burgundy felted necklace was very happy to be in there. Actually, Entropia has another shop which is called Lusitania.
Everytime I see those names on the treasury, I just need to take a look because they are always so beautiful!
Please, do have a look at her shops, she does great work!

Word of the week

After a hard day at work, I couldn't come up with anything more clever then the word of the week... :)
Celadon
(noun) [SEL-ah-don']
1. a pale grayish green color: "Seeing her at the party in a gossamer celadon dress made Jason's heart ache."
2. a type of pottery with a grayish green glaze, originally produced in China
adjective form: celadon

This Ginkgo Leaf Relief Print in Clay comes from colorado art studio on Etsy. It is actually on sale so do have a look! :)

A special day today?

birth·day
1. the anniversary of a birth.
2. the day of a person's birth.
3. a day marking or commemorating the origin, founding, or beginning of something.
4. the festivities or celebration marking such a day or anniversary.

Everyone is having one every year so what's the big deal?
If you purchase something from my shop today AND leave a comment in my blog, you will receive a little present!

Also wanted to share this poem on my birthday... since I love it!

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
with a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me,
and I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
and satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter,

I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
and gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
and run my stick along the public railings
and make up for the sobriety of my youth

I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
and pick the flowers in other people's gardens
and learn to spit

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
and eat three pounds of sausages at a go
or only bread and pickle for a week
and hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
and pay our rent and not swear in the street
and set a good example for the children

We must have friends to dinner and read the papers
but maybe I ought to practice a little now?
so people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
when suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

A little thank you to my customers...

Tonight while I was felting on Christmas custom orders, it crossed my mind that many of my customers will give their purchases from my shop away as a X-maspresent.
I certainly hope they will turn a smile on the face of the receiver.
I wanted to say thank you for loving, supporting and sharing my work and giving joy to others! It makes me *glow*... which is appropiate this time of year ;)

Secret Santa

Meghan from the European Streetteam organised a secret santa. If you wanted to participate, you had to sign up and fill out a questionnaire. She paired up all the participants and send us a convo to who we had to send our secret santa gift to. In the convo there were details about what the person liked or not. I have had so much fun making it - especially because the person I'm sending it too is also a lovely and sweet personality. I hope she'll be happy with it! Happy holidays to everyone!

My treasury made the frontpage!

Yay! I made an all European treasury yesterday and it made the frontpage!
All the featured artists are members of the EST, European Streetteam and they are such a heartwarming crowd that I think they all deserve to be on the frontpage!

Happy customer

Some time ago, I sold two necklaces to Catt. She asked me if I could send one of the necklaces to her cousin in Australia.
It was for her birthday and for being so special to Catt.
I giftwrapped the item nicely and added a handmade scratching card (special birthday edition) with the package. So nice to hear she was thrilled about her present and I received photo's from this happy customer.
