My creative space

My creative space is a bit messy today. I will start off where I left things yesterday before cleaning up. I'm making the feelings shy and touched and this involves working with red clay. I like the little touch of color to the clay but at the same time it's hard not to get red clay everywhere.

About sweet neighbors and so...

My neighbor, Mia, is the sweetest! She doesn't only look after our cat when we are away, but she also spoils us from time to time. Whenever she or I bake something, garantueed that there will be exchange of goodies in the middle of the street. Sometimes I make a mistake baking and she happily helps me finish it. We used to run together but I think soon we can go to the weight watchers instead.
Yesterday, she rang our doorbell and gave me a little something 'cause it had my name on it.
She couldn't resist buying it for me but insisted on me showing wearing it...
As I don't feel like running across the street looking like this, I preferred to post a picture in my blog so you could have a laugh too! :)
The showercap from Mitsie and the Blue Corn Facial Scrub is from the Body shop.

About secrets and such...

I started a weekly newsletter in January. I somehow felt like I wanted to 'connect' with the people I meet on line and share some of my bits and bobs with them.
After the first few newsletters I kind of start liking looking back at my week and writing it all down.
In the newsletter, I share how my daily life is keeping me occupied. Readers will be the first one to find out how new ideas turn into reality, what materials I love to use and other things that might surprise them,...
Readers can also expect the occasional shop update, give-away's and promotions. I sent my newsletter every Friday.

New item in my shop

Haha, this is the first but will also be the last crocheted item in my shop!
I just love to crochet slippers since I learned how to do it but sometimes I get overconfident and want to do it my own way. So I used a different size hook and now they turned out too small.
I love how they look though and I don't know anyone with this size so I put them on Etsy. Click on the picture to go to the listing on Etsy. :)
