I'm cheeky...

... if you didn't know that yet. I really am!
If you don't believe me, read on...

Yesterday Poppytalk announced The Poppies, a virtual awards ceremony of sorts celebrating the Handmade Community!
First of all, you can nominate people in 12 different categories. The five most nominated artists will but put in a voter on January 12th and then you can vote for your your favorite artist.

The 'prize' when you win is fun and I would love to partcipate on Poppytalk without having to pay for it! LOL Told you I was cheeky! :)
For each winner of each category (chosen by readers)
1. A one month's free participation at Poppytalk Handmade
2. A "I won a Poppy" banner/button for your site or blog!
3. A one year's text link from the Poppytalk blog's main page under "The Poppies" category
4. Traffic to you from Poppytalk

Anyway, if you like my work, I would be superhappy if you can nominate my shop by leaving a comment and a link to my shop here. (Just copy this: Mitsy from ArtMind.etsy.com)
If I get selected for the final voting then I'll be cheeky again and will ask you to go vote for me! :)

Oh, and while you're at it, my work is also available through my favorite jewelry designer LilaRubyKing, so please, if you like our collaborative work and Anna's jewelry, you can nominate her too here. (Just copy this: Anna from LilaRubyKing.etsy.com)

Did I tell you today that you're awesome? :)

I did it!

If you don't use it, why keep it?
I never liked Facebook so I'm not sad. It's an early spring clean & it feels good! :)

HeartART

I while ago, Estella from StarOfTheEast send me a set of awesome skeleton keys.
I found them mighty cool but did not really have a plan for them yet. I just knew I needed them. When pondering about Valentine ideas, I realised that the tiniest key needed to be used so I moulded it.And when you say Valentine, you say 'heart'...And this is the result of the project. (click on the picture to see it in my Etsy shop)I also scored some lace and made these romantic lace lights. They have a beautiful translucent look when you put a little light in them. And I added a section 'heartART' to my Etsy shop. I thought it sounded funny and it will most probably disappear after Valentine. :) I'll be adding some more new products to this particular section dedicated to Valentine.

Flickr Favorites

1. twig valentine, 2. Have you received my LOVE already?, 3. crocheted valentine garland, 4. Eat your heart out

This weeks mosaic is all about love. I'm not the very romantic type of person but I know there are lots of people out there who are.
I just unloaded the kiln with Valentine goodies which I'll be uploading in my shop this week. I'm excited about them as they were fun to make and some of them look kind of cute too.

This was my favorite mosaic from last week! :) Happy bubbles! :)

If you like to play this week, make your mosaic and add a link to your blogpost (NOT your blog please) or Flickr in Mister Linky (click on the button below and fill in your name with the link to your blogpost or Flickr picture).

I'll pop over to have a look at yours. Can't wait to see your creations and find new favorites! :)

Poufiks!

Normally I do a crochet post on Saturday to show you the progress on my project(s). Since I haven't been doing any crocheting lately, I decided to show of some exceptional knitting.
Some of you might remember me announcing winning the Poufiks from EvaForeva's blog-giveaway. Well, I'm going to show 'em off now... :)
But first I wanted to show you some of Jenya's work as she's supertalented! Her shop EvaForeva is filled with lucious hand knitted winter accesories and her designs are unique and fun. And she takes such cool pictures - it's a delight to look at her work!
Jenya has another shop called Forevamore where she sells unique handmade clothing and accessories that are all one of a kind. Can't wait to see her new spring/summer line.

And if that was not enough, I also like to share that she has a lovely blog! I love to go there and browse all the cool finds she posts there.
And if you are a tutorial-lover, I insist that you check out her blog as she has heaps of fun tutorials and Do-It-Yourself- ideas on her blog too! *drools*
Check out the sidebar on the right hand side for those!
And she quite often has give-away's so I suggest you just follow her if you want to win cool stuff like I did!

So now I will have to make you jealous... but don't dispair as you can go to her shop and buy your own Poufik. :)
Look what a cool spot they have:Come closer...I'm so super happy with these! I knew I needed a Poufik! Thanks heaps, Jenya! :)

Feel good in 2010

It's a tradition that we sent out New Year's wishes to family & friends. Every year we try to come up with something fun & handmade.
This year we didn't have to think long....The text reads 'Feel good in 2010'. After a year filled with feelings, we thought that this was appropriate. I would like to wish you all the same. I hope that the year will be filled with laughter, joy and cake.
A good opportunity too to thank you all for supporting my work by always leaving the nicest comments & for the friendship I receive by so many of you.
I feel truly blessed with my blogreaders and you know that this blog wouldn't be here without you. Let's toast to an amazing year! :) *holds up a mug of coffee*
