Dit moet zowaar mijn eerste blogbericht in het Nederlands zijn.
Allemaal de schuld van Elza D.
Ze daagde haar bloglezers uit om de truuk met de kers te doen.
En zoals ge weet: een uitdaging ga ik nooit uit de weg.
Ik kreeg geen prijs zonder filmpke.
Madam wil bewijs.
En 't gaat me natuurlijk om de prijs.
Hoe zou ge zelf zijn?
Zoveel lol gehad met het filmpke te maken.
En jullie mogen ook eens lachen, niewaar?
Bovendien: mijn truuk is straffer dan die van Elza D.
Ge ziet het misschien niet, maar ik kan van één steelke, drie steelkes maken én knopen.
Allemaal in 14 luttele seconden.

This must be my first blogpost in Dutch.
Elza D. is to blame for this.
She challenged her blogreaders to do the trick with the cherry.
And you know: I love a good challenge.
I didn't get my prize because I didn't make a movie.
She wanted proof.
And of course, I did it for the prize.
You would do the same, right?
Had lots of fun making the movie.
So I decided you can have a laugh too.
Besides: my trick is even better then Elza D.'s.
Perhaps you don't see it, but I can make from one stem, three stems and all of them knotted.

I thought 'Life is not certain, eat dessert first' as not really accountable perhaps - but believe me, it is true! Trying to think of all the quotes I love and I just couldn't pick my favorite. So I googled 'quotes' and picked one I love at the moment. Hope I'm not breaking my own rules here! Haha! :)
I'm very curious about yours though and yes, you can break the rules - just do as you please - color outside the lines!

Which pimped card is your favorite?

A few weeks ago, I distributed goodie bags at the Sunday Market in Amsterdam.
They contained a pack to pimp your own feeling. Every time when a new card arrived, I jumped in the air. So happy with the snail mail and lovingly pimped cards. Thanks so much for all who took the trouble to pimp and send. They are all super awesome!
Now, one of these people will get happy package from me. It's up to you to decide who this will be... Please vote for your favorite pimped card! Thank you! :)

Dress or skirt?

My creative space

I made moulds the past weekend.
Messy business in my studio. Picture plaster everywhere.
I planned to fire a kiln and I wanted 'em to be ready so I could place 'em on top of the kiln. Even though a kiln is well isolated, it looses warmth while firing and this way I use the warmth to dry my moulds. I made the moulds from polystyreen spheres and they are not completely smooth on the inside so I'll use some very thin sanding paper to make 'em smooth.
Perfect activity to do outside today. But early as it's going to be freakin' hot again.
