Earlier this week, I ordered some more oxides to use in my ceramic work.
While they ship, I'm preparing their coming by making some sample tiles.
They need to be fired before I can put oxides on and hopefully I'll have the kiln firing by the weekend.
I can't help myself but work at different projects at the same time. I should focus on one thing so I can add some new work to my shop but it's fun to play around a bit and I'm enjoying all the things I'm working on.
So I'm working on wall art, pendants and brooches. You can see those on the left.
And once in a while, I like to make a tutorial so be sure to check out the 'How to make a scratch off lottery ticket'.
Want to show your creative space? Hop over to Kootoyoo's to play! It's fun! :)
I love the brooches very much, mine has an honorary place on my green leather fairy jacket. Looks perfect against the dark green :-D
ReplyDeleteI thought that too & was determined not to leap around from project to project this year. BUT I've found I need the variety.
ReplyDeleteNice workspace and I usually work on several projects too)
ReplyDeleteI think most creative people work on more then one things at a time, either because of boredom or having so many ideas there is never enough time in the day to work on them.
ReplyDeleteTo me working at many project at once is a way to follow my immagination, but I never catch up with it..it's to fast, so i write down my ideas, and on "no idea" days, I just do one of them!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I saw were the brooches!!! Wooooo, how exciting!
ReplyDeleteI wish I wasn't this poor, but you believe me, as soon as I get a decent job and salary, I'm going to collect all your feelings :D
hugs,

Even if I work on one project, my mind is working on a dozen of them! Great workspace Mitsy, love the Lottery Tickets, great promotional item!
ReplyDeleteLoving the production line look of this picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely space. I like seeing them all lined up, very cute.
ReplyDeleteI am always working on multiple projects. I thought it was because I am a Mum and could only get at things a bit at a time but now I know it is because of cross pollination of ideas. Looking at all the creative blogs is like that too. I see cross pollination in your assembly line.
