1. Granny Smith Apples, 2. modefabriek 25-26 januari 2009, 3. Untitled, 4. Granny Square (close up)
I haven't even finished my Babette blanket and all I can think about is crocheting a granny square blanket. And the more pictures I see on Flickr, the more I want to get started. I found these fantastic stools via via on Flickr and I love 'em! Don't you think they are utterly cool?
What is your next project? If it's a challenge for you to show me through Flickr pictures, I'm eager to find out! :) But feel free to show any of your favorites!
If you like to play this week, make your mosaic and add a link to your blog or Flickr in Mister Linky. I'll pop over to have a look at yours. Can't wait to see your creations and find new favorites! :)
I love the stools! So colorful and inviting to sit on. Am interested in seeing your end-product!

ReplyDeletethe stools are great and I love granny smith apples... not sure what a granny square is...
ReplyDeleteMeekiyu, granny squares are crocheted square pieces that can be put together to make a blanker for example. A granny square is a simple method of learning how to crochet & it looks fun and happy I think!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket in the left bottom corner is a granny square blanket.
Those stools are more than just a bit gorgeous. Also totally in love with granny blanket - is that Sandra's one from Smosch? All lovely. Can't wait for your show and tell! My challenge is time-keeping... it's ongoing and I can't get a good enough grab on it to flickr it I'm afraid! ;) K

ReplyDeleteNice Mosaic. I love Granny Squares. To play along this week, I posted a mosaic I made in January. It has a sample of items I want to knit in '09. I'd better get busy. Though, there's been lots of knitting in '09, I haven't knit anything from the mosaic list.
ReplyDeleteGreat stools. Crochet can be cool, I believe it.
ReplyDeleteI just checked out your store again and LOVE the crackled babushka necklace - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteFantastic crochets! Your mosaics are so cool everytime!
ReplyDeleteGreat theme and picks Mitsy! Crocheting would be a challenge for me, maybe I'll try that next? Ok, and I also try to continue my hand embroidery project. Maybe not to do anything but have a vacation would be the biggest challenge though, don't you think?!
