Work in progress
At last I found some time to make some more wall art... I have been a bit adventurous as I made my own colored clay slib and I put it on some of them without firing the samples first. So I'm crossing my fingers that the colors will come out nicely.
I love how you keep taking your work another step forward. You certainly aren't stopping but moving right along in your discovery of your seeminly boundless talents! ~Emily xx
Love the free fall! Have you ever actually put engobe after firing once?? I thought I understood that ... they look really nice can't wait to see the fired pieces!
Thanks for your sweet comments everyone! Marian, I did try to put engobe after firing but it doesn't have a lot of effect. I really hope these turn out OK as I'm still experimenting with the clayslib. I will add some oxide to some of these after the first firing and then fire them again so that way you get the double effect! :)
Hello Mitsy, I love your blog and have updated SparkleMirror to show “ArtMind” in the “Sparkling Gems of Delight” section on the sidebar (favorite blogs). Each time you post, yours will appear beautifully at the top of that list. Thanks for providing such interesting content for my friends and me… David
