Have you been looking forward to see the progress on my ripple blanket ?
I have been eager to show you.
Rippling is so much fun, I have been really enjoying myself.
Although I did have to unripple a few times because I didn't count carefully enough but I also found a way to cheat when I didn't feel like unrippling it all. :)
I just added a double crochet together (dctog) or did an extra double crochet when neccesary. And the fun part is, you can't see it - I love it.
Are you ready?
Right now, it looks like one, big long scarf...
Do you like the colors together?
Bad bad me, I still haven't sewed in the ends...
Each row takes me about 1,5 hour to finish and I did one every day this week. Not sure if I can keep up with this pace but we'll see.
I also think I have not ordered enough yarn & I don't have any yellow which I regret. I need to find some more yarn before I complete all first rows. Might do some shopping today.
Have you been rippling yet? Get inspired at Lucy's Attic! :)
Wow! Mitsy! I´m impressed! I like the colors indeed. 1,5 hours/day?

I DO love the colors together! You know, you've inspired me to start posting some progress on a gorgeus granny square blanket I want to make. Maybe that way I'll finish it some day.

ReplyDeleteI soooo feel like trying this! 1.5hours per color ? but you make one long stripe, right? Well, congrats to you. I really feel like crochetting now I made a whole lotta flowers when I was in ARG to make something with them later, but I forgot them over there so.... errmmm... I guess not. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the colors together. Very fun and cheerful but not annoyingly bright.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous work and lovely blogg!!
ReplyDeleteI just love your ripple so much! I am very tempted to start one but am too addicted to the quick fix crochet projects at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI like your rainbow scarf/blanket, it's pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic Mitsy! I have that ripple pattern on my list - just love it :) K
ReplyDeleteYou inspired me to start a ripple too, and the other night when i looked down at it I thought, what a lovely scarf if it weren't 10ft long. ;)
ReplyDeleteWel done Mitsy, looks like this one will be finished much faster :) Looks wonderful and such nice and happy colors!
ReplyDeleteI made a ripple blanket not too long ago, with "luscious" yarn in the color ways "peanut butter and jelly" and "lemondrop." It is indeed luscious, though it did shrink after I washed it...
ReplyDeleteFabulous work, well done x
ReplyDeleteLooks great, love the colours.
ReplyDeleteI admire your stamina for such a big project.
I'm more a person who goes for the quick results.
Looking forward to the updates =^x^=
