Wall paper love
I love wall paper books. Can't have enough of themBeautiful colors
I get them at 2 decoration shops. The kind where you can buy wallpaper or paint. I just let them know I'm interested if they are getting rid of any of the old books and they call me when that happens. :)
Ooo I'm so envious! I love them too :) The last time I asked at a shop for their discontinued wallpaper books they wanted me to pay for them. (Must be a lot of demand!) Kx
I love all kinds of samplers. Wall paper, fabric, wall colors, paper, I just love them. So I guess I would like to be in your shoes, while browsing these journals. Very curious what you are planning with those...
Me to, me to!! We have a huge stack of them for making cards and all sorts of crafts :) The best is that you can get them for free *grin*. Have fun creating!
I have the same feeling for the books of sample gift wrapping paper.... they're so cool and different... if I had space I'd get some of those wall paper books too!
Wouw beautyfull!! It reminds me of when I was a child. My parents ahd one or two books like thes too and I always loved going through these pages, and feel the differences. Very tempting for the senses....
I'm thinking of heading down to the local fix it center to see if they'll give me discontinued books, I've got a few ideas for projects and the list of things to do with the Peanut and these is too long to mention
cool.... I'm pretty jealous right now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI remember going through these some years ago, I think I enjoyed the textures, as much as deciding.
Me too!!! I wanted to get some old books like these as well to make little boxes but I can't seem to find a place around here...

ReplyDeleteOOh, yes, I love them too!
ReplyDeleteHave a decent sized stack, but they are mostly kitchen themed with giant peppers and rotund chefs tossing pizzas - not nearly as pretty as yours!
Indeed. we used to go dumpster diving for them. They even have little swatches of fabric that you can use to make patchwork pillows!

ReplyDeleteI have just turned GREEN I tell you....GREEN with envy!! xx
ReplyDeleteI love the old wallpaper. I have some and I used in my paintings.
ReplyDeleteHmm, could you do rubbings from those textures?
ReplyDeleteI love wallpaper books, too! The only problem is, that it's so bad, if I find a beautiful paper. I can't get it again!
ReplyDeleteJa, heerlijk! Ik heb zelf een enorme stapel monstertjes die ze tegenwoordig bij de doe-het-zelver hebben. Maar zo'n boek is nog leuker!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, forgot to say: just made envelopes out of wallpaper, to go with my new cards!
ReplyDeleteCurious what you're making!
