I'm obsessed!
With tissues. Lots of them. Everywhere. One box in every room of the house and one in the car. And at least 6 of them in stock. Just in case I run out.
Haha, I always have lots of tissue on hand to :) I'm totally obsessed with books and fabric. Some of the fabric I have I can't even bare to cut I love it so much LOL. Now that's a problem!! I'd love to have a fabric store of my own just so I could touch all of the new bolts, smell their newness and then sell it so I could buy more & more & more. Well at least I hope I could part with it all! *grin*.
oh yes! My obsession is a bit strange..... I am absessed with the rubbish. Not really the rubbish, ( I would never put my hands in there...) but with what you can find sometimes next to the bins. When I was living in south of Spain, people where throwing away all kinds of vintage, antique furnitures/objects. I used to collect them and restore them. I could finally decorate a big house of two floors just with those finds... ehehehe since then it is my obsession. everywhere I go , my eyes fall to the sides of the rubbish bins. I will make a post about all the treasuries I found in the last years....
I have a few obsessions: mainly "string" (by which I mean yarn, knitting, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery thread, sewing and embroidery), but also cleanliness and tidiness. I think the last two might be OCDs...
Ooty - check out Tesco mugs as they have gorgeous bone china cups with little red apples on - they sound naff but they're super cute!
Mitsy I too have tissues in every room, in my car, my bag, but I also have a 2-year-old so need to mop up spills and fingerprints all the time! Lucy xox
Hi Mitsy - just saw your comment on the bag giveaway post on my blog - thank you! The closing date for entries is 12th June so I'll contact the winner on 13th - good luck! Lucy xox
Mindy- You are too funny! My mom has tissues in every room of her home as well! In her linen closet there are currently 8 boxes ready to go! I am obsessed with swimming every day! It relaxes me at the end of long days! Michelle-
I enjoyed this post and the comments - I have tissues and books all over the place... I too wash my hair every day! But I've always been obsessed with stationery and can't pass a nice pack of posh pencils or pens without stopping and persuading myself that I really don't need more!!!
BTW- hope you don't mind but I'm holding a giveaway and I'd like to invite you and your readers to join in. I've just past 100 my post milestone and I'm offering one of my Pondlife + Plankton appliqued pencil rolls... it's over at
Chapsticks! I have one in every room of the house and in my purses in case my lips feel dry. Of course they feel dry a lot because I am probably addicted to them! ha
Oh, how silly but I totally understand you! It is annoying when I need tissues in the living room but they are in the kitchen. This might soon become my obsession as well;)
I'm obsessed with storage items. For my friends shopping therapy is buying shoes and purses. Not for me: nothing lifts my spirits as pretty trunks, boxes and baskets. It is actually so much and such a mishmash, that it does not look organized at all. =^x^=
I wash my hair every day ... that's my obession !

ReplyDeleteBlue glass - I'm like one of those scavenger birds looking for bright objects in op-shops and at markets. Anything blue and I gravitate towards it.
ReplyDeleteYes, Mitsy.
ReplyDeleteAnd you may have known... I must have PINK in every corner of the house, even the tiniest bit.
Crazy... crazy... my husband is making a remark that it used to be a house of blues (he was living alone then), and now, it's PINK. :P
