Flickr Favorites

This weeks mosaics is about techniques that I know nothing about but would love to learn. I always look with admiration at paintboxes and wish I had the talent to use em. But alas, I tried and I'm useless at painting. Then I would love to be able to make digital collages but I'm also useless at Photoshop or any other graphic programs. I think the last ones is easier to learn then to learn how to paint. What would you like to learn?

Zo handig als jij bent, dat moet toch zeker te leren zijn, maar vanwaar nog de tijd te halen hé om
hiermee bezig te zijn.

Wow the first link! Nice... Anyhow, same here with paint. I prefer my colored pencils. Waaaaaaay more control. Another issue I am trying to deal with (see my mosaic) lol.

I have to say that the dog heads with human bodies freak me out just a little..

OOh, loving the paintboxes! It's one of the wonderful blessings being a watercolorist, seeing the mix of paint in your tray. Many times the mix that builds over many painting sessions is prettier than the piece you're working on. :o) The randomness makes it especially wonderful.

I'd love to be able to knit actually without ending up with a giant knot lol
photoshop can be really hard to learn unless you have a teacher or good tutorials, it can get pretty frustrating :/

Painting is also on my list, I would love to know to paint/draw. I can find my way around Photoshop, but just enough to do basic editing, and it's feels like pretty enough.
Your mosaic looks pretty good, I love the painting colors best.

Lovely mosaic, the dog's heads had me giggling! I wish I could crochet, I'm so jealous of your granny squares, I'd love to make my own granny square blanket :-)

i am so the same with paint, i am a bit scared of it i think. I am fine on computer though a large chunk of my creative time is in photoshop. It is easier than it seems. honest ;)
