Welcome to the world little wonder!

Julie came into this world on Tuesday, 31th of July at 2:26pm.
She weighs 2760grams and measures 48cm.
Our hearts are bursting of LOVE.
Delivery was induced, without epidural, painful but reasonably quick (6 hours of labor).
We're over the moon with our little wonder!
I'm having troubles uploading an image of her on our Ipad but will soon show you how pretty she is!
Just didn't want to keep you in suspense any longer...

'till soon!
XO
Mitsy

The making of... love

The making of love is not very hard but applying clay to clay is just a tad bit more tricky then taking away clay and takes time and patience. For the heart, I roll out a very thin slab of clay to cut out the heart. I use a heart cookie cutter but because I find that hart a bit too long, I cut away a piece so that the heart is 'rounder' at the bottom. Then I roughen the place where the heart is placed and the back of the heart and add clay slib so that it's 'glued' together. I finish the edges with a wet paintbrush.

Spreading the love...

I had planned to make more of these for Valentine but I just don't have enough time nor hands. So I end up with a sample of a small porcelain heart/lace nesting bowls.
Too little stock to put 'em in my shop so I'd like to spread the love by giving these away to whoever fancies them.
All you need to do is to leave a lovely comment below...
A winner will be picked next monday! :)

Give-away closed!

Some blogs that I love...

And if you have a 30 seconds to spare: flip through five and pause at 20 seconds!
I'm REALLY excited about this! :)
