Sizing

Testing the sizing of the rings. It's hard to determine the size as the porcelain will schrink quite a bit during firing. I'll be opening the porcelain kiln later tonight & I can't wait to see the results of these.

This is so super inspiring!!!
The unpredictability of porcelain... they look good....
I hope they turn out great!! Amazing idea.. :)
You decided to to glaze them?
Me too, I can't wait to see them! Will you post the results tomorrow Mitsy? I am so intrigued as I never worn a porcelain ring before. Very curious :-)
How exciting!
They are so beautiful, Mitsy! I'm glad they've turned out well :) When we do rings in silversmithing we use a length of silver that is too small because the process of hammering them makes them longer... funny how the same thing can be made in so many different ways, isn't it? Kx
