My creative space

My space is exceptionally colorful this week. I just got my wool from the attic and it makes me happy looking at all the colors. I'm not going to start felting again but I was asked to give a little workshop in the neighborhood tommorrow. They organised a market were a few creative souls let people be creative with them and get to know each other. They were kind of desperate to find people willing to give a little workshop so I agreed to help 'em out. I'll be felting little soaps and beads with people who would like to learn. I hope the weather will be nice so we can do it outside. Today I'll be making some samples so people can see what the end result is like.

I really want to try felting, but would probably have to buy lots of plasters to cover all of the jabs i give myself lol

Als ik dichterbij woonde, dan kwam ik zeker een workshop bij je volgen.
Ik wil al heel lang leren vilten!
Ik wil het gebruiken in combinatie met mijn keramiek.

we leven maar in een klein landje en toch is't zover om effe over te wippen om mee te komen doen ... allé vrank van mij om mezelf te inviteren natuurlijk ! Hopelijk hebben jullie prachtig weer en heel veel fun !

Ik mag 21 augustus in Stein ( Limburg) en 5 september in Eindhoven weer een workshop vilten geven. Altijd leuk om de mensen te enthousiasmeren voor deze techniek.

is your square soap of a french brand ? i started making my own laundry detergent with "marseille" soap (and it works wonderfully well !!) and this one looks very similar to the one i use (a great one, all natural, no animal testing...)
i have never tried to felt wool that way, but i'll probably do so someday, it 's on my list !
meanwhile i'll be following your felt wool w.i.p !
