Making / Failing

Making
Failing
For every hand I make, at least one is a failure.
I used to throw 'em out but since a while they go on the failure pile and are fired too.
They end up in my failure frame.

great idea ! Whenever you look at them I think you can put everything a lot more in
perspective. Healthy habit I would say.
I would call it : perspective failure art !
Wonderful use of the so called "failures"! I love this Mitsy.
well, fail or not - this does looks great!
Just knit some gloves for them. no one will ever know.
That is actually a great idea! It makes a statement too about the whole Barbie thing and plastic landfill ;) Kx
super idee!

xxx
Wat kunnen "mislukkingen " er goed uitzien!
You have come up with the ultra idea! I love it!
maar ik vind het mooi ! what's a failure ??? nothing is ....
wow, I love the failure frame! :)

great that you show this, because sometimes all those failures that happen and even have to happen to make something really beautiful get overlooked and people often don't realize that there's a lot more that goes into that one lovely piece that's shown in the end.
so a while ago I started a flickr group called "art fail", to put everything back into perspective and show people that they're not the only ones with all those failures piling up ;) http://www.flickr.com/groups/artfail/
Hands you keep are beautiful but failured hands in the frame look so good! :)
You're a genius, I keep telling you that, but it's true :)
i love that :D creepy but would look great hung on the wall :D

A wonderful idea, collecting the failures! It´s not only a visual statement, it´s also a philosophical statement!...I really love to read your blog!
Love your idea - as always :-)
I also have a pot with the failed projects.
I love it!
Great idea - I love the failure frame. Most of the arms look beautiful though.
